Michael Gomes, Director of the Emily Sellon Memorial Library in New York, has spent the past forty years researching the modern Theosophical movement. Among his impresssive achievements is the publication by Penguin/Tarcher of his annotated and abridged edition of The Secret Doctrine, and his chapter on Blavatsky and Theosophy in the forthcoming Cambridge Handbook of Western Mysticism and Esotericism. Michael Gomes will be speaking at a number of TS centres and Lodges around Australia, and at The University of Sydney. |
